About PrayerTimes.ma
PrayerTimes.ma publishes the official times of the five daily prayers for the 189 cities and towns of Morocco, as calculated and published by the Kingdom's Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs.
Our mission
To make the official prayer times from the Ministry of Habous freely available, without intrusive advertising, for each of Morocco's 189 cities — alongside the Moroccan Hijri calendar, the Qibla direction and local weather. The goal is simple: a faithful, clear and fast reference to the official source, usable anywhere in the Kingdom.
Who edits the content
The site is run by an editorial team familiar with the Moroccan Islamic tradition (the Maliki school, the moon-sighting calendar) and committed to fidelity to official sources. We are neither a religious institution nor a branch of the Ministry: we republish official public data and make it easier to access.
The authority on prayer times and religious dates remains the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs and the announcement of your local mosque.
Where the times come from
All times come directly from habous.gov.ma and are updated several times a day. We apply no approximate astronomical formula. The full detail of our collection, update and verification process is documented on the Methodology page.
Independence and funding
PrayerTimes.ma is an independent project launched in 2026. The service is free. The official data is never altered for commercial purposes: it is reproduced exactly as published by the Ministry.
