About Ramadan 2028 in Morocco

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, during which Muslims fast from Fajr to Maghrib. In Morocco, the start of the month is set by the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs after the official sighting of the crescent moon (rukyat), which can shift the date by a day from astronomical estimates.

During Ramadan, Morocco moves its clock back by one hour for the whole month, which shifts all prayer times. Eid al-Fitr, which ends Ramadan 2028, is expected on 26 February 2028.
